National Walkout Day
March 14th, 2018
HORSHAM, PA
Hatboro-Horsham High School allowed their students to participate in the national walkout that was a movement across the country. Some schools choose not to participate but HH wasn’t one of them. Students had the option to walk out for 17 minutes to honor the 17 victims from the Florida, Parkland school shooting. During those 17 minutes students spoke about how to make their own school a better and more safe place. After everyone walked back inside; breakout sessions occurred during HATS to allow students to spread kindness like writing a kind note, and civil ways to discuss their different opinions. HH supports all we walked out and who didn’t.
