Donovan Livingston

In 2016, Donovan Livingston gave a speech (“Lift Off”) to the Harvard Graduate School of Education that went viral and received national attention. Livingston is an award-winning educator, poet, and public speaker. His speech “Lift Off”, was then published as a book. Livingston earned his master’s degree from Columbia University and Harvard University and is now a doctoral candidate at the University of North Carolina.

On April 18th, Hatboro-Horsham Educational Foundation brought Livingston in with the call to be resilient, to find your own voice, and to be an agent of change. Some students even got the opportunity to sit down with Livingston and have lunch after his speech.
