AP Statistics Fair
June 12th, 2018
HORSHAM, PA
Another school year is coming to an end and that means the yearly AP Statistics Fair. Tenth grade AP statistics students created a project of their own interest to test if their hypothesis was right. Twelfth grade students were welcomed participate too, seniors don’t have to participate, but a lot come back just for fun.
Students paired up in two’s with over 52 projects total. Projects ranged from testing the strength of rubber bands to measuring Chipotle bowls.
Community members, teachers, and staff were invited to attend the fair and evaluate the students work. Many learned something new that they didn’t know.
With the help of HH parent’s prizes were given out to eight groups.
The overall message of the fair is statistics can be fun and should be something students should continue to explore and maybe even study in college.
