Farewell to Crooked Billet

As the 2017-2018 school year came to the end, so did Crooked Billet elementary school. Crooked Billet closed its doors for the last time for demolition. A new Crooked Billet is being built in its place over the next two years.

Crooked Billet students are being transferred to Hallowell elementary school while the new construction is happening.

Plans of the new building include a rotunda wall of history with the battle of Crooked Billet, and American revolution. Along with Crooked Billet becoming a hub for the community to start using its space at night.
