Champions of Learning

As Hatboro-Horsham teachers and staff get ready to start a new school year, it’s time for the annual Champions of Learning award ceremony. All teachers and staff are nominated for this achievement by principals or directors.

This year Hatboro-Horsham school district had over 30 people win the title. Each “Champion of Learning” demonstrates dedication and hard work while going above and beyond the call of duty.

The final award of the day was the Gerald Strock Award. This award was given to an employee that over came an impossible challenge. Kathleen Finney, Secretary to principal at Keith Valley, was in a car accident that nearly took her life. After many surgeries and rehabilitation, Kathleen came back to work last year. HH celebrated her return and knew she was the perfect candidate for this award.
