Manufacturing Day

Manufacturing Day is a celebration of modern manufacturing meant to inspire the next generation of manufactures and occurs the first Friday in October.

Hatboro-Horsham manufacturing and engineering tech high school students got the opportunity to attend a field trip to celebrate the day.

Timberlane a local custom shutter company was the designation for Hatboro-Horsham’s field trip. Twenty-five students attended the field trip to learn about the process of how shutters are made. Students got to take a tour through the workshop and see all aspects of manufacturing.

Over two thousand events happened around the country and opened their doors for students for Manufacturing Day.
