Steinly coached football for 31 years at Hatboro-Horsham high school. With a record of 189-105 that included seven Suburban One League Championships. After the passing of Steinly this past year, the Hatboro-Horsham Alumni Association got involved asking if the high school would rename the stadium in his honor.
Steinly was not only a coach but a teacher and mentor to many students.
The Steinly family in conjunction with Hatboro-Horsham Alumni Association has established a Memorial Scholarship Fund in honor of Coach Dennis Steinly to pay tribute to his coaching career. The fund will be used to support the educational aspirations of HH grads by raising and maintaining a perpetual scholarship fund.
