Keith Valley Toys for Tots 2018
December 10th, 2018
HORSHAM, PA
Keith Valley middle school is spreading some holiday cheer to families in need. Keith Valley held its yearly Toys for Tots program with the United States Marine Core.
Keith Valley Student Council is in charge of organizing the toy drive with the help of student council advisor, Charles Farrell. The student council homeroom was filled with toys lying in every corner. Not only is the student council involved with the toy drive but the whole school is. Student homerooms bring in new toys to donate and the homeroom with the most toys donated wins a trip to the movies and Chick-Fil-A.
The average amount of toys donated is about 3,000. The toys donated help about an average of 200 families. Keith Valley has been doing this toy drive for a little over a decade now.
A human conveyor belt was made throughout the halls of Keith Valley while toys that were collected were passed down to the main lobby. Toys were then loaded onto a Marines truck.
