Sports Press Conference 3/26/19

April 10th, 2019

Two seniors at Hatboro-Horsham High School committed to their college of choice for not only academics but also for there passion for sports. Alli Riches and Luke Emig choose to continue their athletic abilities at local colleges in Pennsylvania.

Alli Riches has committed to Rider University for pole-vaulting. Alli has received a pole-vaulting scholarship for all her hard work and dedication to the sport. Her hard work isn’t just on the field, her dream is to become a Sports Broadcaster director. Rider University provided Alli with not only a great program for academics but also she gets to continue her pole-vaulting. Alli’s coaches talk highly about her skills as a pole-vaulter and how she went from 14th place to first place all within a year of doing the sport.

Luke Emig has committed to Bloomsburg University for swimming. Luke chose Bloomsburg University because the swimming program is D2 and he will still have some free time to relax. Luke has an interesting dynamic as his father was the swimming coach for Hatboro-Horsham High School. Luke’s father, Kip Emig, is very proud of Luke for all his hard work in and out of the pool.

Congratulations to Luke and Alli and good luck with their future career paths!
