Simmons STREAM Night 2019

On November 7th, Simmons Elementary school hosted a STREAM night for students and their families. STREAM is a new acronym that incorporates science, technology, reading, engineering, arts, and math. The staff at Simmons thought it would be a good idea to combine reading in with the STEAM acronym.

Many STREAM activities were held throughout the school like a makers space, sound waves, ozobots, legos, tower building, and many more. All activities were made by the teachers at Simmons.

A book fair was also held as a fundraiser and an opportunity to support literacy in their school.
