Coffee Chatter: Building Your 2020 Marketing Strategy and “nurture” HHSD’s Jarrett Nature Center
November 18th, 2019
HORSHAM, PA
The Hatboro-Horsham School District and Greater BucksMont Chamber of Commerce partnered on November 7th to host all local area Chambers and community stakeholders at Hatboro-Horsham High School for a Coffee Chat.
It was more than just a chat. It was unique as professionals from all groups not only networked, they “unearthed” the District’s Jarrett Nature Center (JNC). The nature center is a 12-acre preserve located on District property and serves as an amazing outdoor environmental education classroom for students and the community.
Talented students in Industrial Technology presented their birdhouse building project to the group with details from research and CAD drawings to completion. Students in Technology will be working with students participating in the Life Skills Support Program and together build 40-60 birdhouses. Several student groups are helping with the birdhouse project like the National Art Honor Society who will be working with students in the Life Skills Support Program to paint the birdhouses and decorate with recyclable materials collected by members of the Students for Sustainable Future Club. When the project is completed birdhouses will be donated to the JNC and the remainder will be offered for sale to the community in the Spring. Watch for the birdhouse sale posting.
Along with the coffee chat, team members at Modern Driven Media shared the latest marketing trends with a plan on how to build a successful business marketing strategy in 2020…all this while enjoying a fresh cup of coffee from Valerio, a local artisan roaster with a unique taste.
All donations from the event will be applied to the District’s Jarrett Nature Center tree revitalization grant “matching cash funds” section.
