February 22nd, 2020
Hatboro-Horsham High School was transformed into a princess castle on February 22nd, for the annual Princess Breakfast event. The event has been running for about five years and makes you feel like you’re in Disney for the morning.
Community members and students are welcomed in with open arms from all the Disney princesses. Brunch is served with all different princess theme activities. Activities included: Nail painting, crown making, face painting, coloring, cookie decorating and much more.
Hatboro-Horsham High School Yearbook staff are in charge of the event, alongside Mrs. Lauren Nash the yearbook advisor. Student volunteers fill out applications a month or so before to get the role of a princess. Not only do they have to look-a-like but they also have to have Disney knowledge of the princesses.
All funds from the day go towards buying yearbooks for students who are struggling to purchase a yearbook. Leftover funds then go towards the making of the yearbooks bill, which is a pretty hefty bill.
Overall the day was filled with Disney Princess magic, and a success thanks to the yearbook staff and Mrs. Nash.
